Gates and Walls of Escaló

Remains of the walled-town structure of Escaló, enclosed behind its walls, with two surviving fortified gates: one with a projecting bartizan tower at one end, and the other, at the opposite end, which gave access to the village mill and washhouse. Together with the Torre d'Escaló, the watchtower linked to this fortification, they form a single complex.
