The Tower of el Xut

Monument · Salàs de Pallars, Pallars Jussà, Lleida

Medieval square-plan tower with a ground floor, two upper floors, and an attic under a single-pitched roof; voussoired round-arched doors on the ground floor and segmental or lintelled windows on the upper floors. Also known as the Torre del Llarí or de Lledós, it survives in excellent condition, though most of its openings are today bricked up. A Bien Cultural de Interés Nacional (Catalonia's top heritage-protection category).
