Fortified Enclosure of la Pobla de Segur

The fortified precinct of La Pobla de Segur had its first site at the Pui de Segur, near the present settlement. The vila later grew as a vila closa, a walled precinct organised around the market square and a suburb next to the church, of which only scattered remains survive today.
