Castle of Toló Monument · Gavet de la Conca, Pallars Jussà, Lleida Romanesque castle documented since the 11th century, possibly over an earlier late Roman or Visigothic fortification, which occupied a platform of about 72 x 95 m with walls up to 3 m high surviving in places; at its center stands the church of Sant Vicenç. Count Ermengol III handed it to Arnau Mir de Tost in 1058 after conquering it from the Arabs; it later passed to the monastery of Sant Pere d'Àger and to the viscounts of Vilamur, documented until the early 19th century.
