Tragó de Noguera Curiosity · Os de Balaguer, Noguera, Lleida Tragó de Noguera was a Spanish settlement, now depopulated, situated beside the river Noguera Ribagorçana, in what is now the municipality of Os de Balaguer (Lleida, Catalonia). In the mid-19th century it was the seat of a municipality that also included Boix, Blancafort and Alberola, with 198 inhabitants according to Madoz's Dictionary. The municipality disappeared in 1964, when the waters of the Santa Anna reservoir, built between 1962 and 1964, flooded the village; its territory was divided between Os de Balaguer and Ibars de Noguera. Also submerged was the nearby Romanesque bridge of Tragó, already mentioned in a document of 1156 and destroyed earlier by a flood during the Second Carlist War.
