Parish Church of Santa Maria de Gràcia Monument · la Granadella, Garrigues, Lleida Baroque parish church of la Granadella (Garrigues, Lleida), located on the plaza de la Vila and popularly known as «the cathedral of les Garrigues». It is a three-nave building with a dome over the crossing and a square chancel, whose construction began in 1764 at a time of agricultural prosperity. On the exterior, the dome, crowned with pinnacles, and the tall octagonal bell tower at the foot of the right-hand nave stand out. The façade, divided into three sections by pilasters, is topped with a wavy crest reminiscent of Sant Felip Neri in Barcelona, and is reached by a flight of steps up to the doorway, flanked by columns on atlantes. The interior, decorated with baroque altarpieces such as that of Lluís Bonifaç, was lost in 1936. It is an Asset of National Cultural Interest.
