The festivities of Ribera d'Urgellet are celebrated in the region whose veal, from rustic breeds such as the Bruna dels Pirineus raised extensively, obtained on 5 April 2016 the European Union's first cross-border protected geographical indication, with its regulatory council based in la Seu d'Urgell.
