Tresponts Gorge Nature · Organyà, Alt Urgell, Lleida A gorge through which the river Segre cuts its way between high rock walls, located between the municipalities of Fígols i Alinyà, Ribera d'Urgellet, les Valls d'Aguilar and Organyà, in the Alt Urgell, linking the upper Segre basin with Organyà and the middle Segre. The C-14 road also runs through it. In former times it was crossed by the royal road linking Organyà with la Seu d'Urgell, of which vestiges still survive, some clearly medieval, which crossed the gorge by means of three bridges that give the congost its name: one of wood and two of stone. In the middle of the gorge, the río de Lavansa flows into the Segre, near the remains of the old Benedictine monastery of Sant Andreu de Tresponts.
