The fiesta mayor of Cava is celebrated in a town within the Parc Natural del Cadí-Moixeró, established on 15 July 1983, which protects 41,342 hectares of pre-Pyrenean mountains between the Berguedà, the Alt Urgell and the Cerdanya.
