Castle of la Roca de Pelancà Monument · Vilallonga de Ter, Ripollès, Girona The castle of la Roca de Pelancà, at 1,040 m where the Abella stream joins the Ter, documented since 1060 and active until the 15th century, was a modest watchtower-fortification now reduced to a few courses of ashlars among the houses of the settlement, which were built anchored to the rock itself; next to it stands the small Romanesque church of the Mare de Déu de la Pietat.
