Vallter 2000 Ski Resort

An alpine ski resort at the head of the Vall de Camprodon, at the foot of the Puig de Bastiments, in the municipality of Setcases. It lies between 2,000 and 2,500 metres altitude, with the base facilities at around 2,100 metres, and covers an area of 7 km2 with 13 runs — 4 green, 7 blue and 6 red — totalling 13.9 skiable kilometres. It has 10 lifts (three conveyor belts, five drag lifts and two chairlifts), with a capacity of 9,622 people per hour, and 96 artificial snow cannons that offset the irregular snowfall typical of this easternmost end of the Pyrenees. It is run by the Unitat de Turisme i Muntanya of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
