Can Verdera, a 16th-17th-century farmhouse situated at La Mota, in the municipality of Palol de Revardit, has almost completely disappeared: today only the barn (pallissa), remains of the perimeter wall of the threshing floor and a well survive, which at the time were laid out in different blocks along the north side of the barn. During the Francoist dictatorship, in the events of la Mota in 1960, in which the maquis fighter Quico Sabarté was killed, the farmhouse served as a command centre and infirmary. It has been listed as a Bien Cultural de Interés Nacional (Catalonia's highest level of heritage protection) since 1988 (BCIN 1200-MH).
