The Salt de Martís is an area of several waterfalls along the course of the river Fluvià, in the municipal district of Esponellà, and forms the most emblematic point of the Rec d'Espolla, the channel through which the waters of the Clot d'Espolla pond flow into the Fluvià, near the site known as dels Palancs, shortly before reaching the village. The surrounding area forms part of the space protected by the PEIN of the Estany de Banyoles and the Natura 2000 Network.
