The Milany castle

The place name Milany appears in 918 and the fortress is cited for the first time in 962. It passed through the counties of Osona and Besalú and through the monastery of Sant Joan de les Abadesses; damaged by the earthquakes of the 15th century, it was taken by the remences in 1462 and was left abandoned.
