Silvi, son of Suñer, and his wife Adalets founded in 1053 the Benedictine Monasterio de Santa Maria de Cervià, next to a castle already documented since the year 922; the monastery became linked to the Italian abbey of San Michele della Chiusa and shaped the life of the Ter valley.
