Llupiana Tower Monument · Campllong, Gironès, Girona The Torre Llupiana is a fortified farmhouse in Campllong (Gironès), declared bien cultural de interés nacional (Catalonia's highest level of heritage protection). Of quadrangular plan with a four-sided roof and an open central courtyard, it has on the south façade a round-arched portal with large voussoirs flanked by loopholes, and at the north-eastern and north-western corners two watchtowers with moulded stone bases and cylindrical brick bodies. One of the windows of the inner courtyard bears a divided coat of arms with fleur-de-lis-topped mounts, castles and Greek crosses, emblem of the Roussillon lineage of the Llupià, documented in Campllong since the 16th century. The building is already mentioned in 1498 as Torra de Campllonch, and Lluís de Llupià i Destoll, squire of Campllong, died in Girona in 1585.
