Sant Pere de Vilopriu Monument · Vilopriu, Baix Empordà, Girona Parish church of Sant Pere, located in the highest part of Vilopriu, in the Baix Empordà, forming an ensemble with the castle and the wall of the town, and included in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia. It is already documented in the 13th and 14th centuries, although the current building, despite preserving part of the 14th-15th century walls, has a structure that is fundamentally from the 17th-18th centuries. It has a rectangular plan, with a flat apse with rounded corners and a two-pitched tile roof; the exterior is very austere, with a rectangular entrance door preceded by four steps and two gargoyles as the only decorative elements, alongside a circular opening in the centre of the façade.
