Sant Andreu d'Ullà Monument · Ullà, Baix Empordà, Girona Small Romanesque church located in Ullà, in the Baix Empordà, within the notable ensemble of rural Romanesque architecture of the region. It belonged to the Augustinian priory of Santa Maria of the same village, of which it is recorded as a possession in 1182. When the great priory church of Santa Maria became the parish of Ullà, after the disappearance of the canonical community, the small temple of Sant Andreu was left without worship and became municipal property, serving for a long time as the town hall's offices. Much altered by these renovations, it was fully restored in 1980 and today is used as an exhibition hall and venue for cultural events. It preserves structures of reused ashlar blocks from the Roman period. Photo: Carlos Pino Andújar (CC BY-SA 3.0) What to see and do in Ullà
