Church of Vallromanes Monument · Vallromanes, Vallès Oriental, Barcelona Parish church of Vallromanes (Vallès Oriental), dedicated to Sant Vicenç. The earliest reference to the church dates back to the year 970, and its status as a parish has been documented since 1183. The current building, in Neo-Gothic style and built of masonry except for the portal and windows made of Figueró stone, was constructed in 1908 while Francesc Cardús was rector. From the old Romanesque church a semicircular ashlar apse survives, with a window splayed on the inside, and among its features the raised wooden choir loft above the entrance stands out.
