Ganxet bean of Vallès-Maresme

White bean, flattened and very curved, of imperceptible skin and creamy texture, with a DOP recognised by the Generalitat in 2007 and by the European Union in 2012. It is sown in July and harvested around November; the classic dish is botifarra amb seques.
