Main festival of Barberà del Vallès (Vallès Occidental), with concerts, sports activities and children's shows. Among its traditions stands out the role of the Colla de Geganters i Grallers de Barberà del Vallès, created in 1984 with the arrival of the village's first giants, Sebastià and Clotilde, christened at that same Festa Major; in 2008 the Marquis giants joined them, representing the first marquises of Barberà, Josep Galceran de Pinós and Agustina d'Urries, who were likewise christened during the festival. In the year 2000, Barberà was designated the fifteenth Ciutat Gegantera of Catalonia, with a gathering of giants held on the Sunday of that year's Festa Major.
