La Sala of el Brull Monument · el Brull, Osona, Barcelona A fortified house converted into a farmhouse, documented as a stronghold since the 12th century, with family records preserved from 1270, in the district of El Brull. The present building, rectangular in plan with its main façade facing east, is the result of an extension southward from the original nucleus; it retains 13th-century arrow-slit windows, visible in the north and east walls, and is entered through a stone doorway dated 1869. Laid out like a peasant farmhouse, with the ground floor used for storage and the upper floors for living quarters, it is notable for the arcaded galleries on the upper floor, recently restored. It is preserved in excellent condition and still operates today as a working farm. Photo: Elmoianes (CC BY-SA 3.0 es) What to see and do in el Brull
