Can Veïl Monument · Cabrils, Maresme, Barcelona Can Veïl, also called Can Vehils, is a fortified farmhouse in the municipality of Cabrils, in the Maresme, declared a cultural asset of national interest. It is a manor house with a square defence tower and, originally, a pyramidal roof; at the beginning of the 20th century it had a basilica-type facade, similar to those of Can Vives or Can Carbonell, with the house divided into a ground floor and three upper storeys, the highest corresponding to the defence tower. Today it is heavily renovated and has lost much of its original appearance, with a three-storey block added at the rear, although the tower still rises forcefully above the whole.
