Church of Santa Llúcia de Sobremunt Monument · Sobremunt, Lluçanès, Barcelona Hermitage situated at the highest point of the Sobremunt mountain range (957 metres), in the Lluçanès region, within the municipal district of Sobremunt. The chapel of Santa Llúcia and Santa Quitèria is documented since the end of the 14th century, although the present building, facing west and surrounded by a stone wall, was erected in 1407 and completely renovated in 1720, a year recorded carved above the doorway alongside an inscription from 1718. It is reached through a porch with an arched vault; it has a tower belfry with a four-sided roof and a preserved bell, and the chapel, much altered, uses a large millstone as an altar. It was restored in 1982 by the Generalitat de Catalunya. Photo: Joandrés (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Sobremunt
