The wool workers of Perafita

In the sixteenth century the economy of Perafita revolved around the paraires, craftsmen who prepared the wool before weaving, alongside the peasants of the farmsteads. Around 1686 the district brought together seventy houses and sixteen inhabited farmsteads.
