Remains of the termenat castle that gives its name to the municipality of Castell de l'Areny (Berguedà, Barcelona). According to the article on the municipality, the place name comes from the Germanic Castellum Athalasindi, which evolved into Castell d'Alareny and from there into the present-day Castell de l'Areny.
