Church of Sant Andreu de Capolat Monument · Capolat, Berguedà, Barcelona A church in the municipality of Capolat, in the Berguedà, included in the Inventory of Architectural Heritage of Catalonia. It is a small Romanesque temple, with a single nave covered by a barrel vault that ends in an apse almost as wide as the nave, separated from it by a triumphal arch. The apse has two splayed windows, and the door opens in the south wall, with a voussoired round arch. To the west stands a two-light bellcote, massive in appearance, and the roof is gabled with Arabic tiles; in the 18th century a small sacristy was added on the north side. It is an 11th-century building for which no act of consecration survives, and about which there is scarcely any specific information. Photo: Quicupr (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Capolat
