The relocation of the Güell factory to the Llobregat

In 1890 Eusebi Güell moved his textile industry from Sants to an estate in Santa Coloma and raised a workers' colony with dwellings, schools and a cooperative. The commission for the church to Gaudí left the crypt as the only part built.
