Castle of Sesrovires Monument · Sant Esteve Sesrovires, Baix Llobregat, Barcelona The Castell de Sesrovires, remains of an old fortification in the municipality of Sant Esteve Sesrovires (Baix Llobregat), is documented since the Middle Ages, linked to the local barony. In 1221 Guillem de Montcada, lord of the barony, pledged it along with other assets to his creditors. In 1404 King Martí l'Humà separated the castle and the parish of Sant Esteve Sesrovires from the barony, and in 1503 Ferdinand the Catholic granted the right over it to his counsellor Lluís de Requesens.
