Castle of Castellfollit Monument · Castellfollit del Boix, Bages, Barcelona Former termenat castle of the term of Castellfollit del Boix, in the Bages, of which only ruins remain today. It dates from the 10th century and has given its name to the municipality: its image, a golden castle on a red field, appears on the heraldic coat of arms of Castellfollit del Boix, adopted in 2005, and on the municipal flag, adopted in 2008, where it is reproduced alongside the green of the box tree (boix), which also gives the town its name.
