Sant Miquel d'Orpí Monument · Orpí, Anoia, Barcelona A church that reuses part of the Romanesque chapel of Orpí Castle, documented since 1099; it combines Romanesque elements with a Baroque renovation whose entrance voussoir bears the date 1653, and it was restored again in 1875. It incorporates the rectory and the old chapel of Sant Miquel, with a rectangular plan and the entrance on one of the long sides; the small Romanesque apse preserves the Lombard arcading and the barrel-vaulted roof with transverse arches. It has an octagonal bell tower topped with a railing, and inside there are 19th-century paintings that imitate the Romanesque style. Photo: Jordiferrer (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Orpí
