Aguilera Peak Nature · Òdena, Anoia, Barcelona Puig Aguilera is a mountain of 626 metres located between the municipalities of Castellolí and Òdena, in the comarca of Anoia. Its name comes from the Latin aquilaria, “place where eagles nest”, and from it the nearby mas Aguilera farmhouse takes its name, known as de la Costa since the 16th century and already documented in medieval times. On the highest part of the puig, a building used during the Civil War for anti-aircraft surveillance is preserved, together with several shelters from the same period, and a geodesic marker. The summit can be clearly seen from the A-2 motorway as it passes Castellolí, and it is included in the list of the 100 cims of the Federació d'Entitats Excursionistes de Catalunya.
