Sant Simeó Estilita del Bruc Monument · el Bruc, Anoia, Barcelona Image of el Bruc, not of the place itself. Small 12th-century Romanesque hermitage dedicated to Sant Simeó Estilita, located in Sant Pau de la Guàrdia, near Ca l'Oller, in the municipal area of El Bruc (Anoia, Barcelona). It is now completely in ruins and heavily altered: it had a single nave, with two double-bevelled windows on the south wall and one on the north, and a rectangular apse at the east end, to which a building with vats for winemaking was later attached. It housed a 16th-century altarpiece dedicated to the saint, moved in 1772 to the chapel of Ca l'Oller. It is protected as a bien cultural de interés local (local-level heritage protection), with code IPAC 4074. Photo: Viquipèdia (CC BY-SA 3.0) What to see and do in el Bruc
