Albarells Curiosity · Argençola, Anoia, Barcelona Albarells is a former settlement, now abandoned, situated atop a hill at about 600 metres above sea level, in the north-east of the municipality of Argençola, in the Anoia comarca, west of the Serra d'Albarells and south of Santa Maria del Camí. Although depopulated and with most of its buildings in ruins, the church of Sant Martí d'Albarells and the Cal Morera farmhouse still stand out. It was home to the oldest documented paper mill in Catalonia, dated to 1113. Photo: Viquipèdia / Wikimedia Commons (CC BY-SA) What to see and do in Argençola
