Pujol House of Vilafranca Monument · Vilafranca del Penedès, Alt Penedès, Barcelona A house sharing party walls, built in the late nineteenth century in the urban expansion formed alongside the road to Sant Martí Sarroca, opened in 1881, an area of interest for its eclectic and Modernista architecture. It stands on Carrer Clascar, number 10, to a design by the master builder Miquel Elias i Güell, dated 19 February 1886 and approved that same year, commissioned by Pere Pujol; the original design is preserved in the Vilafranca del Penedès town hall. It has a ground floor, mezzanine and two upper floors, with a flat roof terrace and a small tower, and a tall entrance doorway of great height. Its interest is chiefly typological, with neoclassical elements typical of eclectic architecture. Photo: MARIA ROSA FERRE ✿ (CC BY-SA 2.0) What to see and do in Vilafranca del Penedès
