Cave of la Masia Nature · Torrelles de Foix, Alt Penedès, Barcelona Image of Torrelles de Foix, not of the place itself. The cova de la Masia is a cave with prehistoric burials, dated between 2000 and 1700 BC, in the municipal district of Torrelles de Foix (Alt Penedès, Barcelona). It is included alongside other sites in the region of the same period, such as that of Can Pasqual (Castellví de la Marca) or the cova del Bolet (Mediona), characterised by plain pottery with thin, polished walls, decorated with incisions, grooves or clay cordons, as well as hand mills, polished stone axes and metal objects.
