The Cañada Real Burgalesa as it passes through Castronuevo

Through the municipal district runs the Cañada Real Burgalesa, one of the great cattle ways of the Mesta; its course crosses the valley of the Esgueva at 753 metres of altitude and today serves as an ecological corridor and a path for walkers and cyclists.
