Molinos de Razón Curiosity · Sotillo del Rincón, El Valle y La Vega Cintora, Soria Image of Sotillo del Rincón, not of the place itself. The name of this hamlet in the municipality of Sotillo del Rincón recalls the mills once driven by the river Razón, a hydraulic operation that for centuries ground the grain of the whole rincón and of which barely any remains survive today. Already documented in the 1528 Censo de Pecheros, when it comprised 26 family units, it was a municipality in its own right until the mid-19th century, when it was absorbed into Sotillo del Rincón; in 1989 the village's first new house in 500 years was built. It preserves the church of San Vicente Mártir and the hermitage of San José, and celebrates its festivities for San Vicente Mártir on 22 January and for San Antonio on 13 June. Its population, which reached 32 inhabitants in 2000, has fallen to barely 11 in 2025. Photo: Esther Pérez Pérez (CC BY-SA 4.0) What to see and do in Sotillo del Rincón
