The Izana river amid the pine forests

The Izana crosses Quintana Redonda, Tardelcuende and Matamala before giving itself up to the Duero. It runs set in the great pine wood that gives its name to the joint authority and sustains alder and willow groves in an otherwise sandy landscape.
