Declared a Monumento Histórico-Artístico (Spain's heritage designation in force between 1931 and 1985) on 3 June 1931, the parish church of Santiago is the town's main draw and the driver of an incipient cultural tourism in a municipality of fewer than three hundred inhabitants.
