The meander of El Melero

South of the village, the river Alagón describes an extremely tight meander that marks the boundary between Salamanca and Cáceres and encloses the island of Romerosa, within the municipal district. The best view is obtained from the viewpoint of La Antigua, already in the lands of Cáceres.
