The resettlement by Ramiro II

The founding of the place goes back to the reign of Ramiro II of León (931-951), who reconquered and resettled this stretch of the Tormes valley in the 10th century; in the 13th, already as Cordoviella, it formed part of the quarter of Villoria of the Salamanca jurisdiction.
