The donation by Alfonso VII to the bishopric

Alfonso VII of León granted the town to the bishopric of Salamanca in 1136, in the same donation that included Cantalapiedra, Topas and San Pelayo de Cañedo; the place had been reconquered in the tenth century by Ramiro II.
