The switch to a vote in the Cortes of Salamanca

Reconquered in the twelfth century within the Comunidad de Villa y Tierra of Ávila, the town passed to the Kingdom of León at the beginning of the fifteenth century and from 1425 depended on Salamanca for its vote in the Cortes, a change that the provincial division of 1833 reaffirmed.
