The archaeological ruins of El Berrueco

The archaeological complex of the hill of El Berrueco was declared a Monumento Histórico-Artístico (Spain's heritage designation in force between 1931 and 1985) on 3 June 1931 and is one of the most significant sites in Salamanca and Ávila, with occupations ranging from the Upper Palaeolithic to Romanisation.
