The panderu cuadráu of Peñaparda

This square tambourine is played with a stick similar to that of the drummer, a technique considered unique in the world. It accompanies dances of its own such as the ajecháu, the salteáu, the corríu brincáu and the ofretoriu, the last reserved for the pipe and drum.
