The church of San Andrés Apóstol is the parish church of Bustillo del Páramo de Carrión, a Palencia village of fifty-eight residents set on flat ground in the Páramo Leonés district, on the old Cañada Real Leonesa and on the French Camino de Santiago. Its construction began in 1650 and was completed in 1737; in the early 21st century it was restored with the help of the residents themselves. It is a three-nave church with groin vaults decorated with Baroque plasterwork and three domes over the crossing, and it holds imagery from the 14th to the 18th century across its six altars: among other pieces, altarpieces with sculptures of San Joaquín, Santa Ana and the Assumption, a rococo-style Nazareno, and a 14th-century Gothic sculpture of San Pablo.
