Justice pillar of Villademor

Monument · Villademor de la Vega, Esla-Campos, León

Pillory raised to mark the town's jurisdictional emancipation, obtained in 1659 after paying a thousand ducats to the Crown. Known to the locals as la Mona, it was declared a historic-artistic site in 1963 and presides over the square beside the church.
