Milestone of Cillanueva

Monument · Ardón, El Páramo, León

Image of Ardón, not of the place itself.

A milestone which, together with an inscription found at Banuncias, documents the line of the Roman road that linked Asturica Augusta with Burdigala across the Páramo, a route still much travelled in the Middle Ages.
