Portilla and Villanueva Soportilla Curiosity · Bozoó, Ebro, Burgos The municipality of Bozoó, in the Burgos region of the Ebro valley, is completed by two minor local entities with almost twin names, Portilla and Villanueva Soportilla, settled at the foot of the slope leading into the valley and described in the 19th century as places battered by every wind. Villanueva-Soportilla lies about a hundred metres from the Ebro river, which there forms the border with the Álava town of Sobrón, and also borders Bachicabo, Puentelarrá, Guinicio and Santa Gadea del Cid; its church is dedicated to San Esteban Protomártir.
